Brad Kostynuik
Brad began as a drummer by insisting rock beats be the backbone of his elementary school's band. Once, following a lunch-hour gig at his junior high, he was cool for the rest of the day, up to and including boarding the school bus home. Much later, Brad spent a decade in Toronto teaching high school art and writing, performing and producing comedy for stage and radio, drumming improv rock for Metal Bramble and playing brushes on a case of empties while lead singing original bluegrass for The New Beatles.
He has been saving spent toothpaste tubes (not just his) since the mid-80s because he has "too many now to stop collecting more."
Bowness is home to Brad and his family of six.
He is also the most sober drummer within an eleven-house radius. (2008 Census)
